Mountain Life Homestead
Just to give you a little glimpse into our lives. Our Nubians (Milk, Cheese, Soap and Kids), Pyrenees, Chickens (Fresh Eggs), Cindy’s Memorial Flowers, yes Champion pedigreed Airedales, Wire Fox Terriers and most importantly two most wonderful Granddaughters are what motivates us. We live in an actual Homestead house built in 1936 during our Nations efforts to put people back to work, end the depression and let them work to own their homestead house. Cindy’s Grandfather was the 7th Homesteader in Cumberland Co. He laid the stone on the house we live in now. God has been and is good to us everyday. We enjoy our simple life. We grow a lot of our own food. Actually most of it. Vegetables, fruit and herbs. We enjoy our Mountain Homestead Life and spend most all of our vacations in the Mountains. Riding our side by side, hiking and just taking in the beauty God created. On my 62nd birthday we hiked Mt. Leconte. The 3rd highest peak of the Appalachian Mountains at just over 6,590 feet. It was spectacular! I feel a special closeness to God when in the Mountains. Not because of elevation, but because of the beauty of his creation is everywhere you look. The pictures here are just glimpse into our lives so you know who you are buying a puppy from.
